Why?

Stories are big part of our lives. We like telling stories. We like hearing stories. Children need both. Parents to tell them stories and to listen to their stories. As parents, we are commanded many times not to forget to tell our children where we came from. Also they should be asking us, why?

As a Father I wanted to start the website as a story telling tool for my children to read what happened. The young ones may remember seeing it happen, however I want to be documenting and placing the stories into their hands as we build. Fathers create good places for sheep to safely graze.

Why? We were Pharaohs slave and in bondage to sin and the Lord brought us out with a mighty hand. Wow. What great response to your son and daughters asking why do YOU do what the Lord commands. We fear the Lord our God. We are to rehearse what the Lord has given us and where He has brought us. We do not well to forget. We speak with our family and friends continually about His goodness and mercy. Nothing that my hands or your hands have done is worth talking about. Its a joke. Anything we have is because of what we have received and what the Lord has done. We speak of the mighty Hand of God and what HE has done, is doing, and will yet do. This good news translates into more of the “why” that we will daily be talking about. We do not well if the World doesn’t find out about the goodness and mercy of the Lord, His unconditional love and the blood of His son that took away sin. We like creating nice places that this word can be shared and delivered.

And when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What mean the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which the Lord our God hath commanded you?

Then thou shalt say unto thy son, We were Pharaoh’s bondmen in Egypt; and the Lordbrought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand:

And the Lord shewed signs and wonders, great and sore, upon Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his household, before our eyes:

And he brought us out from thence, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he sware unto our fathers.

And the Lord commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.

And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the Lord our God, as he hath commanded us.
