Home History.

Thanksgiving of 2012 we purchased our home in a beautiful location. Yes, I said, beautiful location. Location was the ONLY reason we decided to purchase the home. Our home is near our Church, school, and all our family and friends. The home became available to us before it hit the market, the man who owned the home told my Father-in-law that he planned on selling. We jumped into the situation, did the paperwork, and were moving our household goods, 3 children, and wife with infant into the home the week of Thanksgiving with plenty of help from family and friends. Yes. We had plenty to be thankful for. Just had our baby daughter and moved into our new home.

Up to this point we had be renting. It was nice to grab earth that I knew was mine.

We have come to see and realize our home isn’t the material things (we still have way too much stuff), however we do like nice stuff. We should. Our neighbors like living next to nice property and our friends like coming over to an orderly home where everything has a place. We have been truly blessed to have both friends and family, church and schools so close. Our home has been filled, and We can’t say enough of the goodness of the Lord and what He has done.

“And I have given you a land in which ye did not labor, and cities which ye build not, and ye dwell in them; of the vineyards and oliveyards which ye planted not do ye eat. Now therefore fear the Lord, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt, and serve ye the Lord.” Joshua 24:13-14
