Two stories and blue skies for a ceiling.

We did a full inspection of today’s work and once again found 7 wonderful children in the walls. We have fully enjoyed every evening walking thru the walls, hanging on the beams, and sitting in the windows. Tonight we were enjoying the warm air and the blue skies. The roof was gone completely from front to back and side to side.

The pantry area and was fully exposed all the way up to the kitchen wall. Jane is going to have a HUGE pantry. We are going to set her up with all the bread making devices and goodies to make really good homemade bread. Her pantry is going from being 2.5′ deep to about 12′ deep.

The roof is completely gone.

The wall is gone. We can now see what the whole living room size will be like.

The three oldest girls had the opportunity to go up the ladder with Dad and see the beginning of their new room! They were tickled pink! They loved it. Seeing their smiles was wonderful. The view was wonderful. They were so sweet about it.

You can’t beat this view. Looking out over the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living on your new floor of your bedroom. Once again, we are very thankful what we are able to do to our home. As a friend told me when I was updating him on our remodel, “We want to be really good stewards of what the Lord has given us.” Amen.
