No turning back. All settled in.

We have officially crossed the threshold of turning back. The girl’s new floor is in our old living room, oddly resting in mid air. The stairs have been completely torn apart, railings and all. The carpet has ceased to function, bare wood and nails everywhere. Our walls look like the prophets of old were digging for something, they found everything. Windows have been ejected on the ground outside, looking forlorn.

Tonight was great because or contractor came over and answered all our questions and concerns. He is awesome. The few problems we have had so far have been quickly remedied with good solid solutions. It is really far out to see how the support beams are built right thru the house and then everything is torn out once those are set.

We will be seeing a lot happen fast in the next 2 weeks due to the nice weather.
We sure are glad not much is changing to the plans, this allows our contractor to work fast.

Jane and I are now sleeping in our new sunroom. We moved our bed and dresser.
We will no longer be able to go upstairs due to the fact we will be without stairs for almost 2 weeks. Our stairs will be removed soon.

There will be a lot of patience and understanding between all of us. There is quite a few of us living in a little area of our home. We will have patience for each other and learn how to listen. This will be really good. When we are done our children will be some of the most thankful for space and rooms. They have all been doing very well together.

We are once again very thankful for our neighbors and friends who will be working with us and sharing their homes. We will only become a close knit member of the body of Christ. We will supply and be supplied. The word is our life. If the current condition of where our house stands at this moment is where it was to be forever we would have the funnest time. The house and rooms don’t control our lives. We just live in them. Having NICE rooms and places to live is nice for us as well as or neighbors. We like being good stewards of what we have been given. This addition will bless the nations. I believe this. More word, more fellowship, and more friends.
