We have completed a phase of our remodel with our foundation and subfloor. It’s exciting to see the actual size of the room and the space for the downstairs area. The upstairs is still a little hard to imagine. Our contractor is faithfully doing what he needs to do and has been doing a great job. He back filled all around our foundation and as you can see created the proper crawl space for the added area.
Big flat areas are fun for all sorts of things and big walls that are going to be torn down are fun for other things. After talking with the children of how we could bless our contractor, Mike Stuart, they decided to write thank-you notes on the exterior wall of the house. What fun! We get to draw and write our names all over the one side of the house. Wow, when did you ever get to draw on your parents house?
