We received our email from our contractor May 15th saying he had received the permits and we would be breaking ground and starting May 21-22nd. We have spent the last few days clearing out our living room of furniture, the side of the house of all fence posts, brick walkways, and the front of the house of all my beautiful vines above my front porch. Our contractor was overly joyed at us on how prepared we were. He said it would be a few weeks before he needed to break open the house. Jane and I thought best to have the areas cleared and start preparing the children for their new “garage” lifestyle. We are looking to be as proactive as we can to make this happen. We are racing another clock, a baby clock. Our contractor is well aware that he is racing the “baby clock” and we want our new baby brought home to a newly remodeled home. Christine shared this moment as an infant in 2012 and once again this baby will be sharing a like moment. We are doubly blessed to see this journey happen and be completed.
